OUR CERTIFICATION PROCESS

How we validate

Achieving a plastic-neutral world requires accountability from all of us.

This is where our certification process comes into play.

STEP-1

DEFINE YOUR OBJECTIVES.

Based on your industry sector, size, and product mix, establish your goals and aim to become a plastic-neutral entity within a specific timeframe. These objectives can align with government mandates issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

ASSESS YOUR PLASTIC FOOTPRINT.

Measure the amount of plastic waste generated by PIBOs (Producers, Importers, and Brand owners) and their primary responsibility to dispose of this waste in accordance with CPCB guidelines. These guidelines establish specific targets for PIBOs based on the quantity of waste they generate.

STEP-2

STEP-3

OBTAIN THE NECESSARY CREDITS.

Fulfill your Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) targets and secure the associated credits. By becoming a member of Greener, you can connect with plastic producers and manufacturers to engage with recyclers and co-processors.

Follow these steps:

  • Set your target.
  • Register on the Greener Portal.
  • Establish connections with potential recyclers/co-processors capable of meeting your plastic EPR target.
  • Buy and sell waste commodities online effortlessly through our Pan India servic

WEAR YOUR CERTIFICATION WITH PRIDE.

The Plastic EPR Certificate represents the achievement of PIBOs and positions them as industry leaders who embrace responsible “plastic neutrality.”

STEP-4

A plastic credit certificate system offers several benefits. It provides financial incentives for businesses to increase plastic recycling efforts and reduces the amount of plastic waste ending up in landfills. Furthermore, it encourages the development of new recycling technologies, reducing our reliance on landfills and promoting a circular economy.

As a Plastic EPR company, we specialize in recycling various types of plastic, including hard-to-recycle plastics. Our innovative process not only recycles plastic but also upcycles it into new products, contributing to a more sustainable future.
