PIBOs
Any manufacturing entity involved in importing, utilizing, or employing various types of plastic or multi-layered plastic packaging is eligible for membership. PIBOs can purchase plastic credit certificates directly from verified recyclers and processors at a fair price, offsetting their obligations under the plastic waste management Act (2016). Greener provides a vast network of recyclers, ensuring equitable transactions.
Recyclers & Processors
Membership is open to individuals engaged in recycling and co-processing of all types of plastic or multilayered plastic packaging. Recyclers and processors can sell plastic credit certificates directly to brands, helping them meet their obligations under the plastic waste management Act (2016). Greener extensive network connects recyclers and processors with PIBOs, ensuring fair and transparent transactions.
Collectors
Waste Collectors plays a vital role in the waste management sector. Anyone who is involved in the collection of plastic waste from the source location and to segregate properly as per the requirement and send it to the recyclers. By becoming our member, they can connect to the recyclers at Pan India level and leverage the e marketplace to realize better price for their collections.
ULB
Urban local bodies are the authority who create and establish the necessary infrastructure for the collection, processing, transportation, storage, and disposal of plastic waste, either alone or with the help of other organizations or manufacturers.Ecoex can assist ULBs’ to sell their collection of all types of plastic waste, recyclable & Non-recyclable to the registered members of Ecoex portal. The Portal also facilitates a robust audit framework as per public procurement policy, set by Govt. of India.
MRF Operator
MRF operators, also known as material reclamation facilities, specialize in sorting materials from different sources. These diversified plants receive, separate, and prepare dry recyclable materials. Becoming a member enables MRF operators to sell their collected plastic waste commodities to other members of the Greener portal. For large-scale sales, advanced e-auction technology tools are available for real-time negotiations and price discovery.
WMA
Waste management agencies are involved in the collection, storage, transportation, reduction, re-use, recovery, recycling, composting, or disposal of plastic waste in an environmentally sound manner. By becoming a member, WMAs can minimize plastic waste through recycling and other methods while connecting with brands to fulfill their EPR targets. WMAs are encouraged to post their requirements, which are automatically sent to the appropriate recyclers for quotations, and all transactions are recorded for future audits.
Traders
Waste traders can expand their market reach and achieve better prices for their sales. They can also exchange traceability documents online with buyers, serving as proof of sourcing, transportation, and recycling within the EPR framework. Traders are encouraged to provide details such as operational locations, product types, expected price targets, and commercial terms and conditions. The Greener fulfillment team will collaborate with traders to ensure they achieve their desired reach and price targets within the specified timeframe.
